The Bosch Performance Line Smart System provides an impressive 90 Nm of torque so you can always get going smoothly. The Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 600 Wh is neatly concealed inside the frame, keeping the bike's centre of gravity low and contributing to its stable handling. The geometry of the frame lets you sit in an upright, relaxed position that allows for a good overview of the traffic at all times, and that also helps to prevent strain in your back and shoulders on longer rides.
Stepless gear shifting and powerful brakes
In terms of drivetrain, the Kalkhoff Image 3 Excite 380 city e-bike uses the Enviolo Trekking hub system with a Gates Carbondrive CDX belt. Rather than fixed gears, you use a rotary twist shifter to find your preferred resistance, so you can always cycle at your ideal pace. The belt drive needs very little maintenance and runs super quietly. For safety, the bike is equipped with Tektro hydraulic disc brakes that deliver consistent braking power in dry and wet conditions, so you will always come to a timely and controlled stop when you need to in busy city traffic.
